A fashion show lives or dies on the runway: the light on the clothes, the music that drives the walk, and the moment the screen behind the models comes alive. We build the whole look so the designers and models can shine.
We're Pixel 8 Productions, an event production company in Long Eaton, between Nottingham and Derby. Everything is in-house: our own staging, truss, PA, lighting, LED screens, power and crew. We work on theatre shows, awards nights and festival stages, and we bring that same show-calling to catwalk shows of any size.
Whether it's a charity fashion show in a hotel ballroom, a college graduate show or a regional pageant final, you get one point of contact, a clear itemised quote and a run-through before doors open.

The runway
Light that shows off the clothes
Fashion lighting has to be bright, even and true to colour, so fabrics look right to the audience and in the photographers' shots. We light the full length of the catwalk, then add colour, beams and haze for the big moments.
We build the catwalk itself from staging decks to the length and height you need, with steps, a turn at the end and a clear route back stage.
Screens & sound
A backdrop that moves with the show
An LED video wall behind the runway carries designer names, brand films and sponsor logos, and switches with every collection. Our panels are bright enough for daylight and outdoor shows.
Our engineers run the music for each walk, the host's mics and the cues, so every model hits the stage on the beat.

How long a catwalk can you build?
We build catwalks from staging decks, so the length, width and height are up to you and your venue. We'll measure up on a site visit and suggest a layout that gives everyone a good view.
Can you put designer names and films on a screen?
Yes. An LED video wall or screen behind the runway can show designer names, brand films, sponsor logos and live camera close-ups, switched for every walk.
Do you run the music and cues on the night?
Yes. Our engineers run the playlist for each walk, the host's microphones and the lighting cues, working to your running order.
Can you work in a hotel or school hall?
Yes. We work in hotels, schools, colleges, theatres and marquees, and we plan the power, access and build times with the venue.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can, especially for spring and summer shows. Get in touch with your date and venue and we'll arrange a visit and a no-obligation quote.
