Production is what makes a card feel like an event. Here's the checklist we run through with promoters, whether it's a debut show in a sports hall or a weekend of arena events.
Ring lighting
- Even, bright light across the whole ring, with no dark corners for the cameras
- Truss over the ring, or towers if the venue has no rigging points
- A separate "between matches" look so the ring isn't lit all night
Entrances
- Entrance music and a lighting look for every wrestler, sent in advance
- Strobes, beams and colour hits cued to the music
- LED entrance wall or walkway graphics for each name
- Fog jets or cold sparks for headliners (check venue approval)
Screens
- Entrance graphics, sponsor slides and replays
- Side screens or IMAG for big rooms so the back rows see the action
Audio
- Ring announcer mic and backup
- Commentary kit with headsets for each commentator
- A clean mix of music and crowd for the stream
Streaming and recording
- Camera positions planned around the ring and entrance
- Graphics for names and match results
- Recordings for highlights and social media
The day
- Get-in time, doors time and curfew agreed with the venue
- A running order shared with the production team
- One show caller who knows the card
We do all of this for promotions across the UK. See our wrestling & boxing production page and showreels.
